We board China Southern Airlines flight tonight anddepart for Guangzhou. Spend the night on board.
Cross the International Date Line en route and lose one day.
Upon our arrival at Guangzhou, the Flower City, we go for lunch. A city orientation tour in the afternoon takes us to the Sun Yat Sen’s Memorial Hall and Chen Family Temple. For dinner, the roasted pig banquet will be served. (L, DP)
Morning tour takes us to the 72 Martyrs Mausoleum at Huanghuagang and the Liurong Temple. In the afternoon we board a flight bound for Zhangjiajie. (AB, L, D)
We fly to Changsha, the capital of Hunan Province. According to historical records \Changsha is over 3,000 years old. Our city tour includes the Yuelu Academy of Classical Learning and the Mawangdui Tombs. Fly to Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province, in the afternoon. For dinner tonight, we are served the famous Sichuan local cuisine. (AB, L, DP)
The highlight of today’s excursion is a visit to the Panda Preserve Base.
The temple of Marquis Wu is also visited. We enjoy our dinner at the hotel tonight.

Morning visit to Wanjiang Tower. Later board a flight bound for Jiuzhaigou. Upon arrival at Jiuzhaigou Airport, we transfer to Huanglong, the world natural heritage site, famed for its peculiar karsts landscape and multihued ponds that are set off picturesquely by snow-top mountains, vertical ravines, and vast forests. Enjoy our dinner tonight at hotel. (AB, L, DH)
After finish sightseeing in Huanglong, we proceed to The “Fairyland” Jiuzhaigou. This is another world natural heritage site. Jiuzhaigou has been known for its natural wonders in terms of colorful waters appearing to be either magically peacock blue or emerald. All those who encounter it are overwhelmed by the breathtaking beauty of its landscape and lakes, springs, waterfalls, streams, rivers and shoals. For dinner a whole roasted lamb will be served tonight. (AB, L, DP)
The whole day excursion explores the fantasy of Jiuzhaigou. The tour includes visits to Shuzheng Waterfall, Changhai Lake and the River View Pavilion. In the afternoon, we are entertained by the local folklore dance show while visit the Tibetan Village. (AB, L, DH)
We return to Chengdu by air. Transfer to lunch immediately upon arrival. Later we proceed to Emeishan by bus. Mt. Emei is one of the most famous mountains of Buddhism in China. A cablecar ride takes us up to the Golden Summit. The Golden Summit rises over 3,000 meters above sea level. There one may find an advantage point to appreciate sunrise, to view the sea of clouds, the Buddhist lamps and particularly the Buddhist glory which is most wonderful and captivating. Enjoy dinner at hotel. (AB, L, DH)
We take bus from Emeishan to nearby Leshan. The tour of Leshan includes a cruise on Min River, and a view of Leshan Grand Buddha, the largest stone-carved Buddha in the whole world. It’s described as “A mountain emerges as a Buddha, and a Buddha as a mountain.” Finish sightseeing at Leshan, we take bus back to Emeishan, Enjoy dinner at hotel. (AB, L, DH)
Take a motor coach back to Chengdu. Our excursion features a visit to the Du Jiang Dam. Enjoy the famous Medicinal Food for dinner tonight, followed by the entertainment of Sichuan Opera. Sichuan Opera is one of the principal genres of regional drama in China, is particularly famous for its unique skills in “changing countenance”. (AB, L, DS)
Transfer to airport to board our homebound flight to the USA, transit at Guangzhou. (AB)
