This
morning, walk in Tian’anmen
Square,
the largest public square
in
the world, and visit the Imperial
Palace
(Gugong), the once Forbidden
City,
with its over 9,000 elaborately carved and colorfully painted
rooms,
gardens, theaters, temples and exhibition galleries that was
the
home of Chinese emperors for almost 500 years and a testament
of
imperial China’s
splendor and lavishness. Then, enjoy one
of
China’s
three greatest gardens and visit the scenic grounds of the
Summer
Palace
(Yiheyuan), whose apartments feature jewel-encrusted
furniture
and precious objects. Tonight attend the performance of
acrobatic
show. |

Today,
visit one of the "Eighth" Wonders of the World, the great fortification
built
to prevent invasion by barbarians, the magnificent Great
Wall.
Walk on this "Wall of 10,000 Miles," which took 10 years and
more
than a million laborers to build, and look out from the highest
point,
at the fort Bada Hill, from where enemy attacks were signaled
to
the capital by beacon fires. In the afternoon, visit the imperial
tombs
of
the Ming Dynasty, where thirteen of the sixteen Ming emperors
are
buried.
Tonight we will serve the renowned Peking Duck Feast. |

In
the morning, fly to the ancient capital of 11 dynasties of China
Chang’an
(now Xi’an),
rich in historical sites. During the Tang Dynasty,
Chang’an
was the largest city of the world, the starting point of the
Silk
Road.
Upon arrival, visit the Ancient City Wall, and the Big Wild
Goose
Pagoda, Xi Guan Da Jie. Tonight we enjoy an Imperial Dumpling
Banquet
for dinner, in the evening, attend the performance of a
Tang
Dynasty Dance Show. |

breakfast, we will visit the Army of Terra-cotta Warriors, over
7,000
life-size
figures, in the subterranean funeral vault of Qin Shi Huang.

way back to the city see Hot Springs of Huaqing. This is where,
during
the Tang Dynasty, the most famous imperial concubine of China,
Yang
Guifei, bathed. Then visit the Banpo Neolithic Museum. |

morning, fly to Hangzhou,
admiringly called "Heaven on Earth" by
travelers.
We will visit the delicately beautiful West
Lake,

its ten terrific scenic points., Lingying
Temple,
Tea Farm& Pagoda
of
Six Harmony. |

This
morning, we will drive to "Venice of China," Suzhou,
known for its
delicately
designed gardens. We will visit Tiger Hill, Garden
of Master
of
Nets and silk factory. Then, we will drive to Wuxi,
visit the Taihu
Lakeside
& Turtle Head, the third largest lake in China
and subject of
many
poems. |

We
will drive to Shanghai,
China’s
premier business center. Upon arrival,
visit
the 16th-century Garden
of Joy
(Yu Garden) with its zigzagging
bridges.
Also, experience the old world ambiance of the waterfront
Bund
and the Xintiandi, an urban tourist attraction imbued with the
City’s
history and culture |
